Christmas Wreaths

Christmas Wreaths

December 22, 2009
One of my favourite things to make at Christmas is without a doubt the classic wreath.

When people think of a Christmas wreath they usually imagine it as a round loop wrapped with holly and a red bow but wreaths can actually be so much more. All you need is a few items, a little creativity and you will be on your way to making beautiful Christmas decorations.

There is a great selection of bases that you can purchase from Oasis wet foam, Box Wired to Styrofoam and Grapevine. It really depends on what type of decoration you want to make. You can even purchase an artificial pine or evergreen wreath to work from.

I came across a fantastic website called How Stuff Works which has a fantastic selection of homemade Christmas wreaths that are quick, easy and fun to make.

One of my particular favourites is the tulip wreath. It adds real touch of class while complementing Christmas colours.

I really recommend taking a look at How Stuff Works because it shows you how to make a variety of homemade wreaths from candy to snow themed wreaths, the options are endless.

I hope you have lots of fun making yours - and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
