Welcome to the third Colour Influences blog. I hope you enjoyed previous blogs on the Modern Nostalgia and New Direction palettes. This week we will be taking a look at the Summer Jewels collection and seeing how you can apply the combination of shades to the interior and exterior of your home.

 

 

Summer is one of the most fun seasons and Crown have worked to evoke holiday memories of the glistening silver surf against a backdrop of sea spray blues and sandy yellows. The infinite beauty of the sea is accentuated by the jewel-like colours of silver and aquamarine while warm shades of pink and yellow add sophistication.

 

 

 

This palette, in particular, lends itself to use in a modern home. A combination of soft colours and vibrant highlights creates a contemporary, cutting-edge look. This palette instantly gives interiors a clean, fresh feel and the impression of space. Marine shades like Stepping Stone and Secret Garden will add a calming influence to the interior of any room whilst Deep Ivy and Aqua Fizz add a sense of adventure and fun to the exterior of your home.

 

 

I really enjoyed working to create this palette and hope you like it too, next week is the final part in the Spring/Summer Colour Influences and we are going to be taking a look at the surreal botanical palette – which is a gorgeous mix of sky blue, blood red and apple green.
