I have been living in my house for over 6 years now and for that period it has mostly been painted in neutral shades which I must say I am getting quite bored of. I think it’s time for a splash of colour and I have heard of colour blocking which sounds interesting. Could you give me some hints and tips on how to achieve a colour block look and any colours you think could work well to add a wow factor to my home?

I have recently added a conservatory to my home and it is a big bright room and looks fantastic. The only thing is I am completely lost on ideas on how to decorate a room like this. The conservatory at the moment is a blank canvas and it is looking out onto our beautiful garden that has recently been re-done. I’m not keen on pale colours like beige or white so anything other than this would be brilliant.

My husband and I recently bought a holiday home in the country. We made this purchase so we could escape from the “hustle and bustle” of the city with our two children during holiday periods. We want to create a real country home and would love to make it cosy with a more natural, rustic feel, something totally different from our home in the city.
