Accessibility Statement

This accessibility statement applies to crownpaints.ie and is run by Crown Paints Ireland Ltd.

At Crown Paints we want everyone to be able to use our website and to have a positive experience, and have put in place support services to enable this.

What we are doing?

Crown Paints is committed to making its websites accessible, in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2

These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and we have focused on areas such as structure, keyboard navigation screen readers and magnification.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA) and we are targeting Level AA compliance for our website.

Our Progress so far

This website has been tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard.

Currently this website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard.  We’re working hard to complete the final areas that need improving.

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances, which we are working on to fix, and exemptions listed below.

In line with The European Accessibility Act the Irish State is required to ensure that adequate and effective means exist to ensure compliance with the EAA.  Compliance is regulated by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
