At Crown Paints we hope that every product you buy is to your satisfaction, but occasionally, you may want to return an item.
If you wish to return a product due to a fault, please let us know within 6 months of receipt. The product in question will be collected and a replacement product, or refund, issued on confirmation of the fault.
To report a faulty product please use our contact form providing details of your order and the fault you’ve experienced.
For more information about your statutory rights, in relation to incorrect, damaged or defective goods please contact your Local Citizens Information Board or refer to the European Consumer Centre Ireland website (eccireland.ie).
If you change your mind about a product you’ve ordered and wish to return it, then the following applies:
Within 14 days of receipt, please notify us of your intention to return the item(s) using our contact form.
We must subsequently receive the item(s) within a further 14 days, either via courier (at your own cost) or via one of our Crown Decorating Centres.
We will advise you on your nearest Crown Decorating Centre on receipt of your returns request. On receipt of the item(s) a refund will be issued, which will include your initial delivery charge.
Within 15 – 28 days, you can return the item as above but a 20% surcharge of your order value will be applied (unless you notified us within the first 14 days – see above).
After 28 days, the item will be refunded (minus delivery charge and 20% surcharge) at the discretion of Crown Paints Ireland Ltd.
Items returned in this manner are your responsibility until they reach us, so, please, do make sure they are packaged securely. Refunds will be issued on receipt of goods in a saleable condition.
